5 years ago on new year’s, i buried a stone under a tree that grew near the lake.
i had just moved to germany and was missing the feeling of being grounded.
since then, whenever i feel that need, i think of that rock under the tree, near the lake, under the ground, covered with earth, beneath the grass with tiny frost crystals in the mornings.
